Surmaye weaves soulful Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design, drawing its essence from “surma” — a symbol of depth, purpose, and refined expression. We offer handcrafted pieces that tell a story of care and enduring beauty, inviting you to embrace nature’s rhythm, and to take A Conscious Pause… 🌿 THE SOUL OF SURMAYE The Glow of Craft: We believe true beauty radiates gently — through stories that craftsmanship whispers, through textiles that inspire form, and through processes nurtured with care and intention. Nature at the Heart: Nature is both our muse and our conscience. Its colors, rhythms, and quiet imperfections shape our designs, while its cycles remind us to create with care. The Gentle Balance: Balance is at the heart of our design. Between tradition and modernity, form and function, minimalism and eloquence — every element holds purpose. FOUNDERS & VISION Surmaye is led by founders Swati & Prashant Singhal. Swati is the creative soul of Surmaye – with a foundation in fashion design, experience at leading export houses, and a deep love for handwoven textiles. Prashant is the analytical mind behind Surmaye – an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Bangalore, he blends two decades of corporate leadership with a passion for building enduring value. Supported by a dynamic team, they envision Surmaye as a global brand — one that celebrates the harmony of Indian craftsmanship and modern sensibilities, while inspiring people to embrace “A Conscious Pause.”
