Swim Strong Foundation is a 501c3 (EIN 37-1526132) not for profit that is saving and changing lives through water safety and swimming education. During our 20 years to date, we have impacted more than 130,000 people via the delivery of aquatic knowledge and skill. We save lives by offering affordable swim programs from the most beginning levels through competitive. We are stopping the drowning and providing skills that not only are used to enhance personal safety, but health, enjoyment and provide career opportunities. We have provided more than $2.4 million in free swim lessons to families in need. Our educational programming "Know Before You Go (c)" addresses Situational Knowledge of Water (NOT swimming skills). This knowledge teaches us all how to read water circumstances so we can safely navigate them. It is particularly critical as climate action is bringing more extreme water events into our daily lives. We write and collaborate on legislation that builds an aquatic culture in NYC and State.
