Tallawah is a new global network of Black women climate leaders. Our shared mission is to dramatically improve climate outcomes for Black women and girls around the globe by moving Black women’s leadership to the centre of global climate decision-making. We are building a global platform to coalesce regional climate movements, exchange best practices, promote strategic global advocacy campaigns, and ensure impactful participation of Black women leaders within regional and multilateral climate negotiations and decision-making. By mobilizing and amplifying the climate leadership of Black women across the diaspora, Tallwah is building the power and visibility of Black women in climate decision-making spaces, from the grassroots to the global stage.
