Jewellery has been part of our family’s story for eight generations, well before we opened our doors in Chandigarh. After moving from Garhdiwala, a small village in Hoshiarpur, Late Shri Sat Pal Talwar opened a modest jewellery store in 1954. It was built on trust, precision, and personal connection, and over the years, that foundation has grown into what Talwarsons is today. Despite being accepted at some of the most of the illustrious American universities, Anil Talwar — son of Late Shri Sat Pal Talwar — in true Indian tradition, valued family the most in his life. Anil’s razor-sharp business acumen helped Talwarsons Jewellers — a pioneer of BIS certification and 916 hallmarked (22 karats) gold jewellery — grow leaps and bounds. The legacy has continued through Dhruv Talwar and Vikram Talwar. Each of them brings something different to the table. Dhruv is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Carlsbad, where he earned his Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Diamonds credentials. With deep knowledge of uncut diamonds and fine jewellery design, he has helped expand Talwarsons into new creative directions. Vikram studied Economics and Business at the University of Manchester, UK, and also graduated from GIA, adding a sharp business and gemological perspective to the way we plan, design, and serve. Talwarsons is also the first fine jewellery house in the region to offer two dedicated bridal lounges within our premises, designed to give every bride the space, time, and comfort to find exactly what she’s looking for. At its heart, Talwarsons remains a family-run jeweller. Our aim has always been simple: to create jewellery that’s meaningful, crafted to last, and passed down for generations.
