Tar Creek Ranch is a working ranch and event venue set across 100 acres of meadows, trees, and open sky on California’s Central Coast. Located in the rolling hills of San Luis Obispo County, the ranch offers a naturally beautiful setting for weddings, retreats, and thoughtfully hosted gatherings. Our spaces include a historic barn built from shipwreck lumber, expansive meadow views, garden ceremony locations, and welcoming overnight accommodations at the Ranch House. Each space was designed to allow events to flow naturally with the landscape while creating meaningful experiences for guests. Tar Creek Ranch specializes in wedding weekends, private celebrations, and corporate retreats that value connection, hospitality, and time spent together. Our team works closely with planners, vendors, and hosts to ensure every event is supported by clear logistics, thoughtful planning, and a collaborative approach. More than anything, the ranch is a place where people gather. From golden hour ceremonies in the meadow to celebrations in the barn, Tar Creek Ranch offers a setting where natural beauty and genuine hospitality come together.
