Taragaon Next is Kathmandu’s first contemporary space dedicated to built heritage, urban planning, culture, and the arts. Our mission is anchored on three key integrated aspects: art, culture, and community. We focus not only on archiving the history of the region, but also, interpreting these stories with engaging projects in order to create space and build relations with the local community. The story of the rapidly industrializing city of Kathmandu unravels inside our modernist and modular brick structures, as our campus consciously facilitates a reflective and inclusive atmosphere by design.
