TBM Europe is opgericht in 2013 en ontwikkelt, bouwt en exploiteert biomassa installaties. De eerste installatie heeft een vermogen van 2,4MW en staat op een champignonkwekerij in Uden. De installatie is in 2016 in gebruik genomen. Naar voorbeeld van dit pilotproject heeft TBM zich gericht op grootschaliger installaties volgens hetzelfde concept. Vooralsnog worden de installaties van TBM Europe allemaal ontwikkeld, gebouwd en geëxploiteerd in glastuinbouw gebieden. De glastuinbouw is één van de grootste warmtevragers en zeer afhankelijk van gas. TBM biedt daarvoor een duurzaam alternatief. TBM werkt hiervoor samen met Eneco en de glastuinders in het ontwikkelingsgebied. In 2015 is voor vijf biomassa installaties SDE toegekend. Deze installaties hebben een nominaal thermisch ingangsvermogen van 14,8MW en worden gestookt op schoon hout. De installaties kunnen 1,1MW elektriciteit en 14,8MW aan duurzame warmte produceren. De eerste installatie in Bleiswijk is in 2018 in productie gegaan. In 2019 zijn twee andere projecten opgeleverd, één in Bleiswijk en één in Maasbree. Inmiddels is in 2020 het vierde project opgeleverd in Asten en zijn er volop plannen voor nieuwe installaties.
