Team Rethinking Urbanism Pvt. Ltd. (TRU) is a group of highly competent professionals from different fields and locations with a motive to change the urban development scenario by developing new greenfield cities including Mega cities based on the book “Rethinking Urbanism- a step towards golden era” authored by Pradeep k. Saxena a member of TRU. Solutions for existing cities are also delivered. The core team is working for 10 years before forming the company. The concept developed by TRU is a blend of traditional wisdom with modern technology. The concept is the replacement for Rational Urban Planning (RUP) 1891 onwards, (Modified in 2015), the RUP is being used for existing and greenfield city plans everywhere in the world. However, it is now realized by all that the present-day urban problems are the result of this inhuman philosophy. Now the RUP is considered to be a failure in a very short time, as the life of all cities is very long (we know Indian cities planned before have stood the test of time in a much better way). Now with the efforts of TRU, India has a much superior alternative and is ready to export services in urban planning.
