The Tennessee Alliance for Economic Mobility (TAEM) is a coalition of more than 30 organizations working to help families overcome the benefits cliff and achieve lasting financial stability. Serving 16 Middle Tennessee counties, TAEM leads the Our Chance TN initiative, which combines a transitional financial benefit with coaching, financial counseling, and supportive resources to help families move toward economic mobility. Led by the Martha O’Bryan Center and supported by community, faith-based, and government partners, Our Chance TN is part of a study funded by the Tennessee Department of Human Services to evaluate how innovative programs can improve long-term economic well-being.
