Tent2School is a youth-led, volunteer-powered organization working to make quality education accessible for children in internally displaced communities, refugee settlements, and remote areas. We focus on breaking the barriers that keep children out of school by creating safe, inclusive learning spaces and delivering accelerated literacy and numeracy programs shaped around each child’s level and pace. We are also committed to gender-transformative education challenging harmful norms, creating safer learning environments for girls, and engaging boys and men as allies in the journey toward equality. As we grow, we are exploring simple, community-friendly EdTech solutions that can expand learning access in low-connectivity environments and bring quality teaching closer to the children who need it most. Our work goes beyond academics. We partner closely with parents, teachers, and community leaders providing skills training, psychosocial support, educational materials, food security interventions, and climate-focused programs that build resilience and strengthen household stability. We also advocate for stronger education systems and community accountability, ensuring that underserved voices shape the decisions that affect them. At our core, Tent2School exists to restore dignity, expand opportunity, and give every child regardless of circumstance, a real chance to learn, thrive, and rise.
