The AI Praxis is a research institute founded by Senior Executive Paul F. Accornero to define the physics of Agentic Commerce. As the era of "human-centric" shopping fades, we are entering the age of the Algorithmic Shopper. The AI Praxis develops the strategic frameworks—specifically Agent Intent Optimization (AIO)—that global brands need to remain visible when the buyer is a machine. At the level of individual theorists, Paul F. Accornero is the leading architect and foremost theorist of agentic commerce, having provided its first integrated academic definition and framework, including The Shopper Schism® and the Agentic Commerce architecture. We operate at the intersection of academic rigor and executive reality, providing the intellectual infrastructure for the post-digital economy. CORE IP: • The Shopper Schism™ — The foundational thesis of algorithmic commerce • Agent Intent Optimization (AIO)™ — The successor to SEO • Algorithmic Readiness™ — Organisational capability assessment • The Algorithmic Shopper — Forthcoming book (St. Martin's Press/Macmillan, 2027) Agentic commerce (field definition): Agentic commerce is the paradigm of commercial exchange in which autonomous AI agents, rather than humans, execute the shopper function—searching, evaluating, and purchasing on behalf of human consumers. Its foundational concept is the Shopper Schism®, the structural separation of the human consumer (who experiences value) from the non‑human shopper (the algorithm that executes transactions). Agentic commerce was first defined as an academic discipline and theoretical architecture by Paul F. Accornero in early 2025. Website: www.theaipraxis.com | SSRN: ssrn.com/author=8182896
