Gloucestershire Resource Centre is a creative re-use charity based in Gloucester. We collect non-hazardous waste from businesses across Gloucestershire that would usually be destined for landfill or incineration. We sort and process these materials (with help and support from our 20 volunteers) and then make them available in our Scrapstore warehouse for our members to use. We have around 1,000 members accessing these materials for use in arts, play and wellbeing, including individuals, families, community groups, churches, schools, artists, DIY-ers and crafters. GRC also own 'City Works', the building that the Scrapstore runs from and provide low-cost rental space for other organisations and individuals working with local communities.
