The Maggie Junior Golf and Community Foundation supports the Maggie Hathaway Golf Course, a public course in South Los Angeles reimagined as a space for access, opportunity, and connection. Through youth development, junior golf programming, and community-centered initiatives, The Maggie creates pathways into the game while fostering life skills, mentorship, and belonging. Originally opened in 1962 and recently renovated through a unique public-private-nonprofit partnership, the course serves as an entry point for new golfers and a gathering place for the surrounding community. At The Maggie, golf is the backdrop, but the impact is much broader. It is a place where young people are introduced to new possibilities, where families and neighbors come together, and where the future of the game grows more inclusive every day.
