The Nashville Police + Public Safety Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is simple – to create a safer Nashville. We believe that public safety is the responsibility of our community, and our city’s safety requires an outstanding police department and an active, engaged public working alongside it. The opportunity to create public/private partnerships is the impetus for our creation and the heartbeat of our approach. We engage the Nashville community, identify interested partners, introduce tested innovations/best practices, provide relevant research/data, and mobilize private funding to help pilot or expand the most promising initiatives in partnership with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
