Traveler’s Coffee is an international coffeehouse chain with a proven track record. The chain operates over 120 corporate and franchised coffeehouses in Russia/CIS/China. Founded in 1997 by American entrepreneur Chris Tara-Browne the company originated as a small espresso bar. Over subsequent decades, the brand pursued an intentional, organic, and coherent pattern of growth. Today Traveler’s Coffee enjoys a strong reputation as a recognized national brand and an emerging international brand. Traveler’s Coffee established its brand leadership initially in Russia through a relentless focus on the specialty coffee market and would be considered a leader in the third wave coffee movement. That all-out focus yielded concrete results and the company soared to dominate coffee championships throughout Russia. Traveler’s Coffee is currently the reigning champion for the National Roasting Championship of the Russian Federation. Consistent wins over the years in both coffee roasting and barista championships have naturally led towards establishing brand loyalty and credibility. Coffeehouse stores owned and operated by Traveler’s Coffee attract customers seeking authentic coffee quality. Consumer confidence has widened to include an enthusiastic following for the entire spectrum of food and beverage offerings. High quality product, strong price value, and a great coffeehouse environment are distinguishing hallmarks for the brand. Competitive advantages for Traveler’s Coffee generate unique opportunities as it enters a new phase in its growth.
