Uriach has a history dating back more than 180 years, and over a decade ago it decided to embark on a strategic transformation towards Natural Consumer Healthcare (products with the best formulations, the most natural ingredients possible, and enhanced by science and innovation). The company was a pioneer in this business in Spain, and it has consolidated its position over the last ten years through rapid organic and inorganic growth. Today, Uriach has subsidiaries in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, making it the leading company in this market segment, with the largest direct presence on the continent. In addition to this direct footprint in Europe, Uriach has a joint venture agreement to market its brands in Greece, and is continuing to expand its business elsewhere in the world through distribution contracts (currently in more than twenty countries).
