Wild Child Africa was born on Pondoland's untouched coastline—an abode to endangered species and vast marine life. We're driven by a conviction: to safeguard this fragile paradise and empower local communities through mindful, high-end, low-impact tourism. The inception of our eco-tourism endeavours began with the extraordinary Pondo Trail®—more than a hike, it's an odyssey, an immersive adventure that embodies our philosophy in action. The Wild Coast of South Africa demands preservation, and our response is an exclusive, eco-conscious 4-night Pondo Trail experience. Privately guided and fully supported, our guests travel light, soaking up the knowledge of our experienced guides, while we ensure their comfort at each stop. We invite you not merely to hike but to forge a profound connection with the Transkei, leaving enlightened and inspired. What is Wild Child Africa's mission? To foster a love of Southern Africa's untamed landscapes, thereby aiding in their preservation. Through emotive journeys, our guests are able to detox from fast-paced digital lives and discover euphoria in nature, in connection with family, friends, and with self. Beyond the Pondo Trail®, we offer eco-tourism adventures such as The Kosi Bay Turtle Experience and the annual PONDO Trail Run. This is beyond tourism; it's an emotional expedition interwoven with conservation—a journey you'll cherish forever.
