Are you looking for a Football Club that is 100% committed to supporting girls playing community football? Has your player gone to matches and not been passed to by the boy players or Just not received the support she deserves from a male dominated club. Woodlanders Football Club was established to support girls who enjoy playing Community football. I volunteered supporting local community football for a number of years and had witnessed the challenges that faced girls who enjoyed community football. Some would play all game and not get a pass from the other boy players. Others were left out in mixed teams not because of the ability to play but because they were girls. It is funny how 30 seconds can change a life. It was not until my daughter was told she could not partake at school football and ask me to start a club did Woodlanders see its founding. Woodlanders Football Club has been founded to create a ring fenced resource to support girls football within their communities. There will be many challenges in this mission such as gain access to the necessary resource to train and play when male dominated clubs hold many of these resource in a saturated market. The club now as a home grounds and quality 3G training pitches which are made available to the girls to train year round supported by FA qualified coaches. We have had great support from a high quality community facility that supports us in our social activities. We will support any girl that wishes to participate in community football at any age and any ability. If you girl player needs to be support in playing community football, Woodlanders Football Club is here to support her. Visit the website and book a call to discuss further.
