WoT-CV is a web application that automates the recruitment process for World of Tanks clans. It eliminates tedious manual work by automatically finding, evaluating, and ranking players who match a clan's specific requirements. How it works: The system continuously collects player data from the Wargaming.net API and third-party providers, aggregating key performance indicators — WN8, WNX ratings, win rate, battle count, and per-tank statistics — into unified player profiles. Recruiters define custom filters based on statistics, activity, and communication language (detected using AI). The platform then generates a prioritized checklist of players ready for review. Key features: Automated recruit search with advanced, configurable filters AI-powered player language detection for international recruitment Recruitment statistics, effectiveness tracking, and full review history Admin panel for managing clan-member roles and permissions Cross-browser auto-invite extension (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, MS Edge) — players can be invited with a single click Architecture: The platform consists of: a backend API built in Java with Spring Boot using hexagonal architecture and virtual threads for high-concurrency processing; a data-refresher service for scheduled player statistics aggregation; a React/TypeScript frontend SPA; and a TypeScript browser extension. MongoDB is the primary database. Authentication uses Wargaming.net OpenID — no personal data is ever collected. The project is a hobby initiative co-founded by Daniel Owczarczyk and Marek Brajerski, built with a passion for both gaming and software engineering.
