Job description
The HR Generalist supports a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing operation by partnering with employees and leaders on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, attendance, payroll, HRIS, and HR policies and procedures. This role leads hourly recruiting and onboarding, supports union and employee relations activities, assists with investigations and ensures compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
The HR Generalist also supports training and development initiatives, and helps drive employee engagement and operational goals. The ideal candidate is an HR professional with strong recruitment experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
