• Assist in receiving, verifying, and processing prescription orders from patients and healthcare providers.
• Support inventory management by organizing stock, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with ordering and restocking medications.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, answering basic inquiries, and directing more complex questions to licensed pharmacists.
• Maintain accurate records of prescription dispensing, inventory levels, and patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing and labeling medications, ensuring proper dosage, instructions, and packaging.
• Support pharmacy operations by managing phone calls, managing patient refill requests, and coordinating with insurance providers.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, including controlled substance handling and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with pharmacy standards.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or certification in Pharmacy Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, medication classifications, and pharmacy operations.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software, electronic health records (EHR), and standard office equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English (bilingual proficiency is essential).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions with accuracy and integrity.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
