Requirements

We are seeking candidates with strong programming, computer networking and communication skills interested in the cyber security domain. Candidates will be trained in cyber security to support our Continuous Security Posture Improvement vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of the Client's systems by proactively identifying, validating and prioritizing vulnerabilities and providing actionable threat intelligence.

This position involves coordinating and leading routine vulnerability management, penetration testing and remediation oversight on Client's systems as required as per industry standards. Cybersecurity Knowledge & Foundational Exposure: To succeed in this role, you must bring a solid baseline of technical knowledge that we can build upon.

We expect candidates to possess: ● Networking Foundations: A strong, mandatory foundational understanding of computer networks. This includes networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S), routing, switching, and network security architecture. ● Security Principles: Understanding of cybersecurity principles and would be considered advantageous.

You should be eager to learn how to identify and remediate the most dangerous exposures, vulnerabilities, and risks in an environment. ● Modern Cloud & DevOps Ecosystems: Knowledge on Cybersecurity/Dev. SecOps/DevOps and cloud related technologies will be a plus. ● Certifications: Any certification in Cybersecurity/Pen testing/ Vulnerability Assessment/ Dev.

SecOps/ DevOps and Cloud is a plus. As an intern, you will begin by understanding the limitations of GenAI (including inaccuracies and data sensitivity boundaries), learning data classification rules, and continuously improving your AI proficiency. As you grow with us, you will learn to move beyond using GenAI toward designing workflows, contributing reusable skills, and helping Securin compound its Proactive Exposure Management expertise.

● Tool Usage: Emerging ability or strong eagerness to use GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for daily work assisting in drafting, research, summarization, data analysis, or code generation. ● Risk Awareness: Basic understanding of GenAI limitations, including hallucination risks, context window constraints, and data sensitivity boundaries, coupled with a willingness to learn how to properly validate AI-generated output.

● Prompt Engineering: Basic familiarity with prompt engineering techniques, demonstrating an eagerness to learn how to structure multi-step instructions and provide proper context. ● Agentic Workflows: Interest in learning about agentic AI workflows and assisting in the design of multi-step AI agents that execute tasks with human-in-the-loop validation.

● AI Security Fundamentals: Foundational awareness of AI security concepts, including prompt injection risks, sandboxed execution, and the responsible handling of sensitive data. ● Integrations: Willingness to learn how GenAI tools can be connected to internal data sources, APIs, and enterprise systems. ● Collaboration: A desire to learn how to contribute reusable AI skills, templates, or automation workflows to a shared repository for team-wide use.

● Continuous Learning: A strong commitment to learning and adopting new AI tools as they evolve, including active participation in AI adoption sprints, hackathons, and team knowledge-sharing sessions. Key Technical & Educational Requirements ● Education: Undergraduate degree or Masters in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience with CGPA 8 or above in UG and 85% or above both in 12th and 10th.

● Experience: We are also open to both freshers and candidates with up to two years of experience, provided they demonstrate strong coding skills. ● Programming: The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in one of the following technology stacks: MERN, MEAN, Dot net, Python, Java, or any other relevant stack. Soft Skills: ● Excellent oral and written communication skills and comfort with presenting technical issues to all levels of management, as well as non-technical staff.

● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. ● Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. ● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. ● Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
