Job description
Utilizing a wide variety of machine and hand tools, this position will fabricate and/or modify parts and assemblies in accordance with drawings, engineer instructions and sketches. As required, the position will evaluate feasibility of component design and assembly procedures, and provide as required alternate methods for engineering review.
Requires the ability to react quickly to changing requirements (changes to parts and materials) and pressures necessary to maximize the effectiveness (cost and time) of the program. Obtaining objectives requires the ability to communicate, working through and with others, to perform successfully in this position.
