JOB SUMMARY
The Floorhand is primarily responsible for performing various manual labor tasks through the rig site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates core values and safety standards according to the H&P way Performs rig up and down activities Performs “nippling up or nippling down” of the blowout preventor stack Performs general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components Conducts assigned activities on the rig floor Assists Derrickhand with mud-mixing duties Assists Motorhand as needed Up to date on current Work.
Day trainings as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES : Proficient in Microsoft: World, Excel, Outlook and H&P applications Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be a team player Must be committed to the H&P Way and H&P’s core values of Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, Teamwork, and Do the Right Thing Demonstrated commitment to H&P’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and C.
