Job description
The Lead Caseworker functions as Team Leader for the caseworkers of The Salvation Army Salt Lake City Corps. Alongside caseworkers, they handle assistance inquiries for utilities, rent, furniture, emergency and seasonal assistances. As Lead, they authorize the eligibility of clients for assistance, troubleshoot escalated client inquiries, and ensure accurate reporting of casework.
The Lead Caseworker communicates team needs, concerns, and suggestions for procedural changes to the corps officers.
