Job description
The Director leads strategic engagement with global financial institutions and Nordic governments to mobilize resources for AWF’s work through innovative financial mechanisms and high-impact partnerships. This position is AWF’s lead for managing relationships and furthering AWF’s people-centered, African-led vision for conservation and development with key institutional actors – including the World Bank Group, the International Finance Corporation, and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation – while driving strategic relationships and funding pipelines with the governments of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
