DataStage ETL Developer – IBM InfoSphere & SQL Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid (4 Days WFO) Experience Required: 6–8 Years Required Skills

• Unix Shell Scripting Role Description
• Design and implement ETL data pipelines.
• Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills in relational database environments.
• Strong Unix shell scripting skills.
• Create and review technical design documents.
• Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, code, and unit test plans.
• Plan design and implementation activities and provide third-level production support.
• Drive technical platform improvements and ensure solution quality.
• Estimate effort for design, coding, and unit testing activities.
• Ensure ETL pipelines meet quality standards and metadata is complete and accurate.
• Work closely with development teams to promote best practices.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative.
• Working knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD pipelines. Must Have
• 8+ years of experience in complex and time-sensitive development environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage (ETL).
• Extensive hands-on experience with complex SQL (MSSQL Server, Teradata).
• Extensive experience creating stored procedures and Unix shell scripts.
• Experience supporting large-scale testing, UAT, simulations, and reporting.

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of Kafka.
• Working knowledge of JCL/Zeke.
