Summary: The Monitoring, Evaluation & Research Associate (0–2 years) plays a vital role in strengthening program impact and accountability by supporting the design, implementation, and analysis of monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) activities. This position is responsible for organizing field-level assessments, ensuring data quality, and contributing to evidence-based decision-making across the project.

The Associate will work closely with project teams to implement the MERL framework, collect and analyze data, and produce timely, accurate reports that inform program adjustments and strategic planning. This role offers a foundational opportunity to develop professional expertise in program monitoring and evaluation within a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Organize and support routine assessment and evaluation activities at the field level. Assist in designing, coordinating, and implementing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) framework. Support data collection, consolidation, and analysis to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Conduct data quality assessments (DQAs) and implement corrective actions as needed.

Assist in drafting reports, research briefs, and evaluation summaries based on findings. Support the management of research, assessments, and evaluations to maintain high-quality standards. Collaborate with field teams to ensure alignment with MERL protocols and reporting requirements.
