NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: None CERTIFICATION: N/A TRAVEL: As Needed SALARY: $120,000 – 135,000 Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Project Scheduler located at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA. The Project Scheduler will support missions, projects, and technology demonstrations.

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring the project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Working closely with the project managers and technical staff the scheduler will forecast, track performance, and provide reports. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Project planning or schedule knowledge is a prerequisite for this role Detail knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project Must be flexible in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Familiar with and able to present data and recommendations to a diverse audience of project managers, scientists, engineers and technical staff Superb verbal and written communication skills Ideal candidate has demonstrated ability to assign work and manage personnel and tasks Self-motivated and independent thinker PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS A Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or engineering technical area At least 5 years of related experience in project scheduling, planning, or project coordination NASA or industry spaceflight experience highly desired Knowledge and experience with Earn Value Management (EVM) is a bonus Exceptional customer relationship management highly desirable You may not check every box or your experience may look a little different from what is outlined, but if you think you can bring value to our team we encourage you to apply RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all Project Schedule activities, including overall schedule development, tasking of status work, quality control, customer satisfaction, and performance tracking and reporting.

Create detailed project integrated master schedules using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Ingest schedules from internal and external project elements Perform schedule analysis to review task linking, logic, slack, drivers, and Critical Path analyses Produce schedule reports for critical path, milestones, schedule slack and key givers and receivers Working with the project managers and technical staff to forecast, track performance, and provide insights Identify, communicate, and deconflict tasks, deliverables and schedule impacts Responsible for monthly, annual and milestone review schedule assessments and reports Interface with Government, contractors and mission partner staff for schedule updates and status Some travel may be required to support mission and project partners #NASA #LI-AD1 #CJ
