Job description
Lead end-to-end accounting operations, including AP/AR, reconciliation, ledgers, tax filings, and audit readiness. Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts as per statutory and internal timelines. Prepare MIS reports, P&L, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual analysis for management review. Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and handle return filings.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for statutory and internal audits. Supervise invoicing, credit note processing, and payment cycles for distributors, e-commerce platforms, and vendors. Maintain and improve internal financial controls and accounting systems. Manage a team of accountants and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and procurement teams.
Optimize working capital, monitor collections, and flag risks proactively.
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant 7+ years of relevant experience in handling accounts in a consumer products, pharma, or D2C setup Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory norms Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / SAP / or similar accounting systems Excellent command over Excel, reconciliation, and reporting tools Leadership capability to manage junior accountants and external consultants Strong eye for detail, problem-solving mindset, and integrity
