The Imaging Technician is responsible for the color correction, enhancement, and preparation of digital images for high-quality print reproduction and digital publication. This role requires advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and a strong understanding of color management, image optimization, and prepress production.
The Imaging Technician ensures images meet established visual and technical standards while preserving the integrity of the original photograph and achieving the desired creative outcome. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, strong technical expertise in image editing, and a thorough understanding of color theory, press reproduction, and CMYK workflows, including the impact of press dot gain on final output.
