We're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist (maternity cover) to join our Finance team in Sofia. In this hybrid role, you'll support our Accounts Payable operations while collaborating with colleagues across our international organization.

Key Responsibilities

Performs operations within the Accounts Payable process area, including vendor document management, invoice and credit note processing, payment proposal management, AP helpdesk activities, and support in resolving vendor queries and disputes. Ensures compliant and timely processing of invoices, expenses, and payments across relevant tools and systems.

Supports and promotes optimization and continuous improvement of Accounts Payable processes across Zentiva. Participates in automation initiatives and advanced technology implementations to drive efficient and effective AP operations. Develops and maintains high-quality policies, guidelines, and procedures. Owns and maintains tools and systems supporting the Accounts Payable process, including upgrades, testing, and process enhancements.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Master in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar. 5+ years of Finance functional experience 3+ years of progressive experience in AP operations Ability to prioritize tasks, be proactive and drive initiatives that meet expectations of big cross-functional, cross-border user groups.

Tech-savvy, capable of translating transactional data into clear summaries for management. Knowledge of the legal acts in the field of accounting, tax and social security legislation, the main provisions of labor and civil legislation. A performance-driven self-starter, confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English An excellent team player able to operate in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
