Chef de Partie | Luxury Game Reserve | Eastern Cape Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie for a luxury game reserve based in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section within the kitchen while ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of dishes in line with five-star standards. Package: Live-in position Salary: R13,000 Key Responsibilities: Manage and take ownership of a designated section within the kitchen Prepare and present dishes to the highest quality and presentation standards Assist with daily mise en place and service preparation Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards Support the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team during service Ensure stock is properly stored, rotated, and utilised efficiently Assist with minimising waste and maintaining portion control Follow recipes and presentation guidelines consistently Assist with dietary requirements and special guest requests Maintain smooth and efficient section operations during service Requirements: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a professional kitchen Experience within a lodge or five-star hospitality environment advantageous Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to work effectively under pressure within a remote environment Good teamwork and communication skills Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards Passion for hospitality and food excellence Personal Attributes: Hardworking and reliable Positive attitude with a willingness to learn Strong team player Organised and detail-focused Calm and efficient during busy service periods This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking to build their career within a luxury safari setting while growing within a professional and supportive kitchen environment.
