Staff Field Technician 2 (8601A )

Applied Research Associates (ARA) is looking for an individual to support both shop fabrication and infield activities at ARA’s China Lake location, located in Ridgecrest, CA. The candidate will support fabrication of electronics equipment, assembly of mechanical structures, field install of mechanical and electrical equipment, and post-install support.

Required skills

include ability to understand both mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, understanding of low voltage wiring systems, ability to read and redline design drawings, and the ability to translate these skills into both shop and field install activities. Must work well in a team environment and provide innovative feedback and problem solving to teams of engineers and technicians.
