Job description
We are looking for a senior finance professional to own end-to-end financial operations across our two brands. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone comfortable working across finance, ops, and leadership in a fast-scaling hospitality business. Roles and Responsibilities: Day-to-day accounting management — bookkeeping, ledger accuracy, month-end and year-end closing ● Statutory compliance: GST, TDS, PF/ESI (if applicable), income tax filings, and liaising with auditors/CA firms ● AR/AP management — vendor payments, owner payouts, guest/OTA receivables reconciliation ● IFRS/Inc AS understanding for financial reporting standards and consolidation readiness ● Bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring ● Payroll management ● Accounting standards and annual financial reports for India, Singapore, and Indonesia entities ● Internal controls & audit readiness — SOPs for cash handling, property-level expense approvals, and fraud prevention checks across a distributed property base ● ERP/accounting software ownership — managing the accounting system (Tally/Zoho Books/similar) and driving automation of reconciliation and reporting ● Team management — hiring, training, and supervising junior accountants/executives ● Statutory and tax audit coordination — single point of contact for external auditors ● Owner payout policy compliance — ensuring payout structures per contracts are applied correctly across all properties ● Working capital management — managing property-level payables (housekeeping, maintenance vendors) and receivables (OTA settlement cycles) ● Contract and legal document financial review — reviewing owner agreements, vendor contracts, and lease terms for financial implications before sign-off ● Insurance and asset management — tracking property insurance renewals, asset registers, and depreciation schedules ● Fundraise/investor support — preparing financial data rooms, due diligence documentation, and investor MIS if/when required ● New property financial onboarding — setting up accounting structures, payout templates, and cost centers for newly onboarded properties ● Tax planning and structuring — advising on optimal tax positions as the business scales across states/entities Requirements Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a similar role.
B.Com, CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or any other relevant qualification. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, taxation, and financial reporting. Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or other accounting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP.
Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger management. Ability to prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly reports. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
