** Position Summary **
Summary: The Mobility Aide is a specially trained member of the Nursing Department who performs specified tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse (Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager or Designee). The Mobility Aide functions in a support role to the Registered Professional Nurse or Physical Therapy team by providing direct, mobility-related patient care activities as assigned.

Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • High School Diploma or equivalent •Experience in healthcare related services OR • Successful completion of 1 semesters of hospital-based clinical practicum while enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Experience in healthcare related services • Prefer relevant experience in an inpatient health care setting • Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite • Successful completion of Mobility Aide Training/Orientation
License/Certifications
