Senior Associate - Threat Hunting

The Opportunity We are seeking a Associate / Senior Associate Threat Hunting with strong expertise in proactive cyber defense. The role involves conducting hypothesis-driven threat hunts, leveraging threat intelligence, and detecting advanced threats across enterprise environments. The candidate will play a key role in strengthening SOC capabilities and defending critical financial infrastructure.

Job Details Job Title: Threat Hunting Specialist Division: Information Security Years of Experience: 3 to 6 years Education: BE / BTech in Computer Science, IT, or related field Employment Type: Full-time Location: Hyderabad Role Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities Conduct hypothesis-driven threat hunting and execute structured hunt missions using threat intelligence and behavioral analytics Analyze financial sector-specific threat landscapes and identify attacker TTPs Perform deep investigations across endpoints, network, and logs to identify hidden or advanced threats Utilize MITRE ATT&CK framework to map, validate, and structure hunting activities Develop and execute advanced queries for detecting suspicious patterns across SIEM/EDR platforms Collaborate with SOC, IR, and threat intelligence teams for improving detection use-cases Automate hunting workflows and data analysis using scripting Continuously enhance detection capabilities and improve existing hunting playbooks Requirements Key Skills and Experience Required Strong understanding of Windows/Linux internals (process ancestry, registry, memory analysis) Deep knowledge of network protocols and traffic analysis Hands-on experience with: SIEM tools: Splunk, Log.

Rhythm, ELK EDR/XDR platforms: Crowd. Strike, Sentinel. One Proficiency in query languages such as KQL, SPL, or SQL for threat hunting Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Power. Shell for automation and analytics In-depth understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary TTP analysis Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
