Monitors cardiac/telemetry status and vital functions of all patients. Performs as a Unit Liaison, including physician communication, maintaining electronic logs, EMS radio support, and coordinating patient transports. Adheres to infection control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Performs basic skills completely to include but not limited to: patient transport, EKGs, telemetry monitoring, intake & output, vital signs, specimen/culture collection, phlebotomy, dressing applications, oxygen administration via simple airway management (nasal cannula or mask), personal hygiene assistance, chest tube set-up, splint applications, blood glucose monitoring, and foley catheter placement [Required] Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language [Required] Education: High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Work Experience: 1+ healthcare of field experience [Preferred] Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support
