Job description
The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of medical equipment and technology throughout the hospital. This position provides technical expertise in the installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and lifecycle management of clinical equipment used in surgical services, inpatient care, imaging, sterile processing, and other patient care areas.
The Biomedical Engineer collaborates with clinical staff, physicians, vendors, and leadership to support high-quality patient care, maintain regulatory compliance, minimize equipment downtime, and evaluate new technologies that improve operational effectiveness.
