A Day in the Life

As a Technical Consultant for Spine, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and effective adoption of Medtronic spine technologies across Northern and Western Poland (Pomorskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Zachodniopomorskie and Wielkopolskie). Working directly with surgeons, operating room teams and sales colleagues, you will provide clinical and technical expertise during spine procedures, helping healthcare professionals deliver optimal patient outcomes.

This field-based role combines hands-on operating room support, product education, inventory management and clinical training. You will serve as a trusted partner to customers, ensuring confidence in the use of Medtronic spinal implant systems while contributing to therapy growth and procedural excellence. Extensive travel within the territory and regular presence in operating rooms are required.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and technical support during spine procedures, partnering with surgeons, operating room teams and sales representatives to ensure successful therapy adoption. Deliver product education, procedural guidance and training to physicians, nurses and operating room personnel on Medtronic spine technologies.

Conduct on-site product demonstrations, workshops and in-service training sessions to support safe and effective product use. Collaborate closely with hospital stakeholders and internal teams to optimise procedural workflows and customer experience. Manage and track consignment and loaner inventories to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.

Act promptly and accurately on customer feedback, product-related events, complaints, legal issues, risks and field actions in accordance with company procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of spine therapies, products, clinical evidence and market developments. Support internal training initiatives for Sales, Capital and Service teams, including new product launches, demonstrations and laboratory workshops.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biology, Marketing, Business Administration or a comparable discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in the medical device industry or within a hospital operating room environment. Experience working in an operating room environment and supporting clinical procedures.

Fluency in both Polish and English. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Preferred: Experience supporting spine implant procedures. Nursing background or experience as a physician assistant. Knowledge of spine surgical therapies and clinical practices. Experience delivering product training, clinical education or technical workshops.

Knowledge of the spine implant market and competitive landscape. Experience managing consignment or loaner inventory programs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
