Job description
Full service civil and environmental with history that goes back over 50 years looking to add a strong technical Transportation/Roadway engineer to their office! RESPONSIBILITES:
- Oversight of transportation improvement projects including roadway design. -Planning, design, and construction support for highway and urban projects. -Overview and design of plans, calculates and prepares engineering documents for respective engineering disciplines. -Prepares and monitors project budgets for transportation design projects. -Keeping project schedules and timely completion of projects. -Serves as a project engineer and as a designated client contact. -Assists in construction bids or negotiations -Responsible for control of work-in-progress on team projects. -Participates in pre-project presentations, interviews, and promotions as requested by Department Head. -Responsible for performance of personnel assigned to their projects. -Establishes and maintains clients and contractors relationships and attends client meetings REQUIRMENTS: -B.S. Civil Engineering -P.E. MN or ND preferred or ability to get reciprocity -Proficiency in MicroStation and GEOPAK -5 plus years exp.
