- Serve as the Bank's innovation hub to explore the availability and applicability of new/evolving data and technologies for analytics, with the objective of enhancing the business value for the Bank
- Hands-on development of advanced analytics/ Machine Learning-based solutions to uplift effectiveness of analytics and modelling through (i) supervised/ unsupervised machine learning techniques (ii) structured and unstructured data e.g. digital footprint
- Explore the availability, accessibility, and transformation/ utilization of unstructured data (e.g. browsing data, voice recordings, emails, images, videos)
- Integrate customer's internal and external data (both structured and unstructured) to create a 360 customer view
- Explore existing system capabilities and identify necessary developments (both system and process) leveraging internal banking system and/or other vendor solutions in order to plan effective business applications with realistic timelines
- Develop a close-loop learning path and ensure insights and learnings are implemented for continuous improvement
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert to train and advocate for uplifting machine learning skills and culture among existing analysts Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Data and Information Management, Statistics or a related discipline
- A data scientist with minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in developing and executing large scale analytics deliverables/ projects in the Financial Services Industry
- Deep experience in applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques/algorithms, infused with industry knowledge, to enhance business strategies
- Proficient in programming languages like Python and SAS, and experienced in working with data manipulation, analysis, machine learning, web crawling and NLP
- Strong in transforming analytical concepts and developments into business strategies and applications for the uplift of business value
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning
