Job description
The Fleet Parts Specialist is responsible for managing the inventory, procurement, and distribution of parts and supplies for the city’s Fleet Maintenance operations. Reporting to the fleet manager this role ensures that Fleet Technicians have the necessary parts and materials to complete repairs efficiently. Additionally, the Fleet Parts Specialist oversees the city’s fuel system, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring fuel usage, and maintaining accurate records.
This position works closely with the Fleet Coordinator to manage purchasing, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
