Athena Ambulatory Optimization Analyst Start Date: ASAP Duration: Contract (3–6 Months) Daily Working Hours: Full-Time Travel: Remote Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship No Third Parties Please Project Scope We are seeking an Athena Ambulatory Optimization Analyst to support a specialty physicians group in assessing, reconfiguring, and optimizing their athena.

One EHR environment. This role will conduct a comprehensive review of the current system build, identify gaps and underutilized functionality, and drive configuration improvements that enhance clinical and operational performance across the ambulatory setting.

Position Summary

The Athena Ambulatory Optimization Analyst will serve as a hands-on athena. One subject matter expert responsible for evaluating how the platform has been built and configured, identifying areas of opportunity, and executing targeted optimizations across the full athena. One environment. This individual will work closely with physician group leadership and operational stakeholders to understand current workflows, surface gaps, and deliver a more effective and fully utilized athena.

One build. The ideal candidate is a practical, experienced athena. One analyst who can assess what exists, know what good looks like, and get to work.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct a thorough assessment of the current athena. One build across the specialty physicians group environment. Identify underutilized, misconfigured, or missing functionality across the full athena. One platform. Develop and execute a prioritized optimization and reconfiguration plan aligned to clinical and operational goals.

Reconfigure and rebuild athena. One components as needed to improve workflow efficiency and system performance. Collaborate with physician group leadership and operational staff to understand specialty-specific workflow needs. Document current-state findings, configuration decisions, and optimization recommendations. Ensure the athena.

One environment is properly configured to support specialty ambulatory workflows. Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal staff throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

Hands-on athena. One configuration and optimization experience required. Strong understanding of ambulatory workflows within a specialty physician group setting. Proven ability to assess an existing EHR build, identify gaps, and execute targeted improvements. Experience working independently with minimal oversight in a remote environment.

Strong communication skills with both clinical and operational stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting specialty physician groups across multiple specialties. Background performing athena. One assessments or optimization engagements. Familiarity with athena. One integration capabilities and third-party tools. Experience working in environments where athena. One and an inpatient EHR operate in parallel.

Prior consulting or contract experience in a client-facing capacity. Ideal Candidate Profile Experienced athena. One analyst who can assess, diagnose, and optimize without needing to be told where to look. Practical and hands-on — someone who can get into the system, identify what's working and what isn't, and fix it.

Strong communicator who can translate findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Self-starter who thrives in an independent, remote work environment.
