ACG_3730_JOB Our client is an established industrial manufacturing company seeking an experienced Factory HSE Manager to lead occupational health, safety, fire prevention, and environmental compliance at its production facility.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the factory’s Health, Safety, and Environment management system. Manage HSE documentation, including hazard identification, risk assessments, environmental records, waste classification, emergency response plans, and statutory reports. Ensure factory operations comply with applicable occupational safety, fire prevention, environmental regulations, and internal standards.
Conduct regular workplace inspections, identify unsafe conditions, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and monitor HSE policies, procedures, annual plans, and performance indicators. Organize safety induction, training, emergency drills, and awareness programmes for employees and contractors. Investigate occupational accidents, incidents, and near misses; determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
Manage the recognition and disciplinary process relating to workplace safety compliance. Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, customers, and relevant stakeholders on HSE matters. Lead, assign, and evaluate the performance of the factory HSE team. Prepare periodic and ad hoc HSE reports for factory management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline. At least three years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environmental management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Sound knowledge of occupational safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and environmental regulations.
Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and HSE documentation management. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, training, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant reporting tools. Able to work independently, make timely decisions, and manage emergency situations effectively
