About Us

Temu tax team ensures compliance with local and international tax laws while optimizing the company’s tax position. We handle tax planning, reporting, and risk management, working closely with other departments to drive efficiencies. Responsibilities

Assisting with domestic and international direct tax compliance Researching Federal, state and local income tax issues and related legislation to assist in understanding the impact on compliance and consulting. Assisting with income tax audits and notices from various tax authorities Collaborating within finance and cross-functional teams on tax planning and compliance data gathering, including routine and ad-hoc tax reporting requests Identifying Federal, U.

S. state & local tax issues related to new business initiatives, as well as tax automation systems Preparing detailed written tax guidance and requirements for the new projects Partnering with business, finance, treasury, legal teams on business inquiries and other tax related matters Leverage emerging and existing technology to innovate and streamline processes Keep up-to-date on tax law and the organizational impact of changes Required skills / Minimum Qualifications Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law; Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for corporate income tax.

Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Be able to work with multicultural team and be patience and understanding. Ability to prioritize and communicate workloads to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Strong organizational and collaboration skills.

Ability to creatively and collaboratively complete tasks. Be able to work with a fast-paced start-up with flexibility to diversified workloads. Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience 4 or more years of U.S. corporate income tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation CPA preferred Compensation and Benefits Our compensation structure is designed to align with the cost of labor in various geographic markets across the US.

The total salary for this position ranges from $65k to $195k annually, based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, competencies and location. In addition, you may receive benefits depending on the nature of employment, job position, and work location.
