- Sat) Working Role Overview We are looking for a highly creative and performance-oriented Video Editor who can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-converting content for Meta, Amazon, and our website. This is not just editing , this is about understanding: Hooks Retention curves Kids psychology Parent purchase triggers Performance marketing You will work closely with the founders and marketing team to build content that drives revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Ad Creatives Edit short-form videos (15–45 seconds) for Meta & Instagram ads Create multiple hook variations from the same raw footage Add dynamic text overlays, transitions, subtitles, and sound effects Optimize videos for high CTR and strong retention
- Product & Website Videos Edit product demo videos Create Amazon/A+ style product explainers Glow feature demonstrations Lifestyle + emotional storytelling edits
- Reels & Social Media Create Instagram Reels and Shorts Trend-based edits with brand consistency Fun, playful, kid-first aesthetic
- Creative Testing Produce 5–10 variations per concept Edit UGC-style content Improve creatives based on ROAS and performance data Requirements What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience in video editing Strong understanding of performance marketing creatives Proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut / Cap. Cut Experience editing for D2C brands (bonus if kids category) Understanding of hooks, pacing, retention Ability to work fast and iterate quickly Bonus If You Have Experience editing Amazon listing videos Basic motion graphics skills Understanding of storytelling for kids Experience with UGC and influencer content Benefits Why Join Famyo?
