About the Role
As the Director of Operations for MINA Group, you will provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of world-class restaurants, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, and financial performance while supporting both existing restaurants and new openings. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you will mentor General Managers, partner with corporate leaders, and drive consistency across service, people development, financial performance, and operational execution.
This is a highly visible leadership role that requires an experienced hospitality executive who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams, developing future leaders, and delivering Michelin-level hospitality. The Director of Operations oversees restaurant leadership teams, partners with hotel ownership groups, and serves as a champion of MINA Group culture and standards across the organization.

What You Bring to the Table Personal Attributes Inspirational and servant-minded leader Exceptional communication and organizational skills Strong business acumen with a hospitality-first mindset High emotional intelligence and professional maturity Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders Calm under pressure with outstanding problem-solving skills Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional teams Commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences and strong restaurant cultures Professional Attributes Multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience Strong financial acumen including P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, and labor optimization Proven ability to drive sales, profitability, and operational consistency Experience leading restaurant openings and operational transitions Expertise in leadership development, succession planning, and performance management Strong understanding of luxury hospitality, Michelin-level service standards, and guest experience Experience collaborating with Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Learning & Development, and Development teams Comfortable building relationships with hotel partners, ownership groups, and external stakeholders Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems Basic Qualifications Minimum 8 years in restaurant management with multi-unit leadership responsibilities Experience leading multiple restaurant openings Proven experience hiring, coaching, and developing senior restaurant leaders Strong knowledge of labor management, financial reporting, budgeting, and operational compliance Comprehensive understanding of HR practices, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred Ability to travel 70–80% to support restaurants and new openings throughout the MINA Group portfolio Travel This position requires extensive travel throughout the MINA Group portfolio to support restaurant operations, leadership development, hotel partnerships, operational assessments, and new restaurant openings.
