Location: Dallas, TX - Onsite Address: 8301 N Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75225 Shift: As Needed Job Schedule: Occasional
We are seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our community committed to delivering outstanding care to our residents. As a CNA, you will play an important role in monitoring vital signs, fostering meaningful connections with residents, and championing their overall well-being. What you’ll do:
- Ensure resident care is the best it can be by following the care plan.
- Get to know our residents by sharing stories with them while providing comfort, transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs.
- Contribute to community harmony by providing emotional and social support to residents.
- Help residents with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and helping them bathe.
- Safely lift and reposition residents as necessary.
- Provide adjunct patient care as needed.
- Have an eagle eye and taking notice when resident behaviors change and letting shift leaders know.
What you’ll bring:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.
- Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control.
- Requires ability to read, write and understand business documents which are written in English.
- Requires ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Requires ability to make self clearly understood by others.
- Requires ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions.
- A friendly attitude and a servant’s heart.
