Job description
The Peer Recovery Specialist plays a key role within the MAT/OBAT team to provide support, understanding, education and mutual peer support based on their lived recovery experiences with substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. This role will provide peer-to-peer support and will act as a mentor and guide to clients who are early in their recovery.
The Peer Recovery Specialist will assist in creating and developing recovery plans and pathways tailored to each client.
